Dyes, pigments and paints: Chlorinated paraffin acts as a flame retardant in the paints industry. It is used in the formulation of paints for swimming pools and other fireproof paints.

Plastics : Chlorinated paraffin is used as a plasticiser in the formulation of PVC compounds and granules. These are used to manufacture wires and cables, PVC window and door profiles, PVC flooring, films and sheets. It is also used in polyurethane and polysulphide-based sealants and adhesives.

Rubber: Chlorinated paraffin is mainly used as a flame retardant in conveyer belts, V belts as well as natural and synthetic rubber.

Steel: Chlorinated paraffin is used as an extreme pressure additive in metal working fluids and cutting compounds.

Textile : In the textile industry, chlorinated paraffin plays an important role in manufacturing rexin cloth for upholstery.
